This notice covers the website at wpagent.marcopontili.com. The WordPress harness itself runs only on your machine over loopback and is outside this notice: nothing you do in your local install reaches this website.

Analytics

This website uses a self-hosted installation of Matomo, run by the controller on his own server in the European Union. No third party receives the data.

• No cookies. Matomo runs with cookies disabled and stores nothing on your device.
• IP addresses are anonymised before storage.
• Do Not Track is honoured. When your browser sends the Do Not Track signal, no analytics data is collected.
• Data processed: anonymised IP address, pages visited, referrer, outbound link clicks, browser and device type, and the time of the visit.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in measuring traffic in aggregate to understand which pages are useful. Matomo stores nothing on and reads nothing from your device beyond what is needed to deliver the page, so no consent banner is shown.

Hosting

The website is hosted by Netsons S.r.l. (Italy), acting as processor. The host processes server log data, including IP addresses, user agent and request time, as necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Place of processing: European Union (Italy).

Requests may pass through Cloudflare as a reverse proxy for caching and security. Cloudflare web analytics and tracking features are not used.

Retention

Analytics data is kept in aggregate for as long as it serves traffic measurement. Server logs are kept for the period the host needs to operate and secure the service. Neither is used to build profiles of individual visitors.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to data portability where it applies. To exercise any of them, use the contact page above; requests are answered free of charge and within one month.

You may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority where you live or work. The same rights and the same contact route apply wherever you are in the world.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no local storage for tracking. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

This notice may change when the website changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
